Thanks to the creative efforts of Dan Proctor of Kirk Designs and Ana Castro of JRS Architects each library is a well-equipped space featuring new books, furniture, and technology. Each also has a special section for parents and guardians to spend time with their child called the “Pratt Library Parents’ Place”. In addition to the equipment, the spaces have specially designed smaller areas for group instruction and private reading. A graphics package, including signage that welcomes students to the library in a variety of languages, and floor-to-ceiling murals complete the transformation.
